The centerpiece of most Italian countryside manors is the decadent poolside settings amid the backdrop of countryside vineyards and olive groves. Swimming pools, outdoor bars and kitchens are generally the focal attraction of these elaborate properties where members and their guests will likely congregate when there’s an idle time to enjoy the home. These settings with gentle breezes and long rural vistas will impulsively direct each occupant to embrace the notion of a good book or spending afternoons lounging with family of friends seducing each occupant to let go of the complications of their busy world.
These country estates and farmhouses will inevitably be within the agrotourism areas amid multiples of local wineries which can be found throughout every region of Italy. Nearly all these properties will be in or near the heart of the wine regions with a specific emphasis on being within a short drive of important cities or towns such as Florence, Siena, Lucca, Pisa, Turin, Perugia and others.
Wine Tasting and golf could be the main agenda from these manors, but truffle hunting in Piedmont is a well-known seasonal event, and in many cases, the properties may offer tennis or pickle ball courts.
